TN Department of Education: Educator Licensure & Preparation<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

The Office of Educator Licensure and Preparation is responsible for the issuance of all Tennessee educator licenses. If you have any questions that cannot be answered by the Office of Professional Licensure, please contact <\/span>educator.licensure@tn.gov<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ETS Website<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

View licensure areas by clicking \u201cRequired Tests\u201d at the top of the page and then scrolling down to Content Knowledge Assessments for Specific Endorsement Areas. When registering for an exam(s), you MUST provide your full Social Security Number and identify the University of Tennessee Knoxville (1843) and the TN State Dept. of Education (8190) to receive your Praxis scores. If a Praxis Content Area exam is taken in a state other than TN, test scores will not be sent to the TN State Department of Education. ETS will charge a fee to send scores after the initial registration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teacher Education Withdrawal Form<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

If you no longer wish to participate in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Educator Preparation Program, please click the link to complete the form. Please note, that this form will not withdraw you from the university or any of your courses. It simply informs the Office of School-Based Experience that you are no longer pursuing a degree leading to teacher licensure.
