Scholarship Information

A variety of scholarships are available to Teacher Education students, each with unique eligibility criteria. To be considered for scholarship assistance, we encourage you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For more information on how to complete the FAFSA, visit the One Stop Student Services website at https://onestop.utk.edu/fafsa/.

To be eligible, applicants must be admitted to the Teacher Education program, complete the formal admission process, and attend the required intern orientation with the Office of Professional Licensure. Detailed information about applying for teacher licensure scholarships is provided to students during the intern orientation.

Undergraduate Students Scholarship

All undergraduate students must complete One Stop’s Continuing Student Undergraduate Scholarship application by February 1 of each year to be considered for college-level awards.  Most typically, recipients of college-level scholarships are selected by the Scholarship Selection Committee late in the spring semester and funds are distributed the following fall semester.  While some scholarships are based on financial need, others reward academic excellence, professional promise, or leadership, among other factors. Please refer to the CEHHS’ Office of Advising and Student Services for more information, https://cehhs.utk.edu/cehhsadvising/advising-resourcesforms/scholarships/

You must complete a FAFSA for this scholarship.
