Leadership Studies Program and Project Excellence Host Annual Fall Leadership Event

Opportunity for Students to Engage with Community Leaders

Recently, the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) Leadership Studies program and Project Excellence hosted the annual Fall Leadership Speaker Event with distinguished community leaders Tanisha Baker and Pastor Daryl Arnold. The event provided the opportunity for two prominent Knoxville community leaders to connect with ELPS Leadership Studies students for a night of honest leadership advice and mentoring.

The leadership event was made possible through the efforts of Kimberly Hill, director of Project Excellence and Community Engagement Coordinator, to connect Leadership Studies students with community leaders. Pastor Arnold and Baker serve as inaugural Distinguished Community Leader Lecturers and mentors with Project Excellence for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Through its eight departments and 12 centers, the UT Knoxville College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences enhances the quality of life for all through research, outreach, and practice. Find out more at cehhs.utk.edu
