IES supports the building of an infrastructure for evidence-based education through activities such as grants to states to develop longitudinal data systems. IES disseminates evidence on education to the public and practitioners through the <a href=\"http:\/\/ies.ed.gov\/ncee\/wwc\/\">What Works Clearinghouse<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/eric.ed.gov\/\">ERIC education database<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ies.ed.gov\/whatsnew\/conferences\/\">conferences<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ies.ed.gov\/pubsearch\/\">publications and products<\/a> and 10 regional education laboratories and 10 national research and development centers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ies.ed.gov\/ncee\/wwc\/publications\/practiceguides\/\">Practice guides<\/a> provide practical recommendations for educators to help them address the everyday challenges they face in their classrooms and schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Institute for Educational Sciences The Institute of Education Sciences funds hundreds of research studies on ways to improve academic achievement, [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":29,"featured_media":1950,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"template-wide.php","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-1018","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
