Congrats! From March through July, 2018, we had 33 new external funding submissions totaling $12,505,072 and 17 new awards totaling $5,551,706. You can check out the full list of awardees and active proposal submissions below. Please celebrate your fellow faculty’s efforts with us as we continue to enhance the quality of life of the community through research, outreach and practice in the College of Education, Health and Human Services, University and beyond!

            New Submissions

Strategic Plan

With input from the Dean, Associate Deans, Department Heads, Faculty, and Staff, our strategic plan for external funding and research was finalized.  You can view a copy here.

For the academic year 2018-2019, we will provide the following opportunities to assist faculty with obtaining external funding and enhancing their scholarship via:

  • Monthly workshops held the first Tuesday (2:30-3:30) of each listed month (Claxton 451)
    • Read ledgers and tracking expenditures – October
    • Write aims with a matching budget – November
    • Find and interpret funding opportunities – February
    • Compliance: IRB and Programs for Minors – March
    • Meet Office of Research and Engagement – April
