LEADERSHIP STUDIES MINOR<\/em><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

HONORS TRACK<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Leadership Studies \u2013 Honors minor is a 12-credit program open to Honors students from all majors. The curriculum combines hands-on learning with leadership theory to prepare students for careers and civic life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students gain real-world practice in leadership processes, facilitating change, and navigating group dynamics. Coached experiences include team science, community engagement, and civic leadership. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Professional Quality Leadership Development \u2013 <\/strong>Students develop leadership capacity by connecting course content to the practice of leadership. Students will participate in coached leadership experiences to learn leadership by engaging in civic and organizational life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experiential Leadership Learning \u2013<\/strong> Students learn leadership by engaging in leadership processes and practices in a range of civic and organizational contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Science, Community-Engaged Scholarship, & Civic Engagement \u2013<\/strong> Honors students have unique opportunities to think about and develop leadership capacity in a range of scholarly and community-engaged contexts. These experiences will prepare Honors students for graduate school, competitive internships, and a range of competitive career pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
