The Early Learning Center has actively engaged in a natural learning initiative since 2013. Last year, our inaugural Early Learning Institute celebrated the work we have done to cultivate a natural learning community in which teachers and children engage in daily experiences with nature in many forms. For the 2016 Early Learning Institute, we are eager to celebrate our continuing journey to deepen and enrich the possibilities for learning when we extend our nature-based work over time. We eagerly anticipate sharing more content, stories, and ideas for practice based on our continued, multifaceted work across all aspects of our program. Again, we will invite other experts in nature-based and early childhood education to spark renewed commitment, growth, and insight amongst Institute participants. We look forward to ongoing collaborative and generative conversations with early childhood professionals who share our mission to bring the richness of nature to children in meaningful ways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
