Making a seamless transition from high school to post-secondary education, employment, vocational training, or independent living can be difficult for students with disabilities.<\/span> <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

CLEE\u2019s Self-Advocacy Curriculum and support services can assist students in making a successful transition from high school to career or college.<\/p>\n

Ms. Jones-Sanders, teacher, Hunter Lane High School, Nashville; Melvin Jackson, CLEE<\/p><\/div>\n

Recently, Ms. Jones-Sanders and her students at Hunter’s Lane High School in Nashville have been working with CLEE staff Melvin Jackson using CLEE\u2019s Self-Advocacy Curriculum.<\/p>\n

Ms. Jones-Sanders took advantage of CLEE’s intensive coaching to prepare all her students for a successful transition. Mock interviews, resume writing, and job application activities, in particular, really helped two of her students prepare for jobs they have arranged at exit this May.<\/p>\n
