ODEP provides a <a title=\"national disability employment awareness month resources web site\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dol.gov\/odep\/topics\/ndeam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wealth of resources<\/a> and ideas fo<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">r those wishing to support this campaign &#8211; this month and <em>throughout the year<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Center for Literacy, Education and Employment is proud to support National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). Our <a title=\"Corporate Connections project at CLEE\" href=\"https:\/\/cehhs.utk.edu\/clee\/employment\/career-workforce-development\/drs-corporate-connections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Corporate Connections<\/strong><\/a> representatives, in conjunction with the <strong>Tennessee Division of Rehabilitation Services<\/strong>, are organizing and supporting <a title=\"TennesseeWorks - Emplyment Events Calendar\" href=\"http:\/\/vkc.mc.vanderbilt.edu\/tennesseeworks\/employment-events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">activities across the state<\/a>, including:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Disability Mentoring<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Awards and Recognition for employers and employees<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Community Awareness events<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Employer Outreach &amp; Education presentations<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cehhs.utk.edu\/clee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2013\/09\/kmartinez.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-918 alignleft\" style=\"margin-left: 5px;margin-right: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/cehhs.utk.edu\/clee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2013\/09\/kmartinez.jpg\" alt=\"kmartinez\" width=\"111\" height=\"126\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000\"><em>&#8220;<\/em><em>&#8220;When I was growing up, many people doubted what I could do just because I was blind.
