Tishona joined the Center in January 2023 as a Regional Access Coach for the Access for All Learning Network in East Tennessee. Before joining the team, Tishona was a teacher of students with moderate to severe disabilities in both the elementary and middle school settings for 18 years. She has her undergraduate degree in special education from Eastern Kentucky University. Tishona received her MA as a Reading and Writing Specialist from the University of the Cumberlands and in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University. She hopes to continue her education in the future and to pursue an EDS in Curriculum and Instruction.
