Before joining AALN, Natalie served in West Tennessee as an educator for 24 years. Her most recent position was served in the Milan Special School District for 20 years. Her role for Milan was District Resource Specialist, where she was responsible for supporting schools with the implementation of Response to Intervention, K-4 literacy coach, MTSS & RTI team leader, and data management. Her work ensured all students had access to high-quality instructional materials in reading & math, and necessary supports to success.
She has also held various part-time positions with the state to ensure teachers have the necessary training and support to serve students in Tennessee. Natalie holds a BS in K-8 Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin, an MS in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and an MS in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay University.
During her leisure time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and expressing her creativity through various crafts.
