Alyssa Smithwick

PDG Regional Access Coach

Alyssa joined the CLEE team in February 2026, bringing a Masters in Early Childhood Education and over 7 years of experience teaching Head Start through 2nd grade. She spent 5 years leading nationwide K–5 curriculum development, training, and implementation, followed by a year designing adult e-learning programs and webinars. Alyssa also holds a degree in Public Health Education and is a certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor. Passionate about whole-child learning, trauma-informed education, and child mental health, she integrates health and wellness into classroom instruction.

Outside of work, she enjoys songwriting, volunteering, and time with her husband, 3-year-old son, and golden retriever.
