Class Load<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students typically take 3 or 4<\/strong>, 3-credit hr courses per semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program intentionally stacks classes in a given semester to give you days to be at your practicum and internship sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, in a fall semester, you might have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, leaving Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to be at your site or place of work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cohort model<\/strong>
Often, students receive lots of support through their cohort of students<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty<\/strong>
Faculty are always willing to help you navigate whatever you need; just let that need be known<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Class time
<\/strong>Professors give plenty of time in class to process experiences and feelings related to activities or content. They also open the door for related conversations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Knoxville is a vibrant city, with countless local shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Our downtown and Old City areas are particularly exciting for all ages. You will have the opportunity to enjoy festivals and experiences such as the the Market Square Farmers Market<\/a>, Greek Fest<\/a>, Mardi Growl<\/a>, and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knoxville is conveniently located near the Smoky Mountains and has plenty of local outdoor attractions such as Mead\u2019s Quarry, the Tennessee River, and Ijams Nature Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
