Jamian Coleman, Ph.D. at the Grand Challenges Summit 2026

We’re proud to share that Jamian Coleman, Ph.D. participated in the Grand Challenges Summit 2026, where he co-led the Overcoming Addictions Roundtable session titled: “Addictions in Rural Tennessee Communities.”
During this session, Jamian Coleman, Ph.D. guided an important conversation on the unique substance use trends and challenges facing rural communities across Tennessee. Attendees explored what makes these areas particularly vulnerable, shared real‑world experiences, and discussed opportunities for community‑driven solutions.
Jamian Coleman, Ph.D. also provided updates on ongoing Grand Challenges projects focused on addressing addiction, helping build momentum and support to take this critical work to the next level for Tennesseans.
