Two CEHHS Faculty Named Fellows for 2019-20 Academic Year

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Engagement at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, recently named Faculty Fellows for the 2019-20 academic year.  The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (CEHHS) is proud to announce that two of the three named are from our faculty.

Congratulations to Dorian McCoy, Associate Department Head and Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for College Student Personnel in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, for his appointment as one of the two selected.  McCoy will work with a post-doctoral research associate on the best practices for faculty recruitment and retention, division and office program reviews, institutionalization consultant reports, and the development of training modules for the Chancellor’s cabinet and senior leadership.

CEHHS also congratulates Hillary Fouts, professor and co-director for the Early Experiences Research Center in the Department of Child and Family Studies.  Fouts will work on faculty advisory areas through the formation of a faculty advisory group for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Engagement. The group will address the creation of a faculty diversity expertise directory and assist/consult on diversity-related issues. Fouts will also examine and develop a plan to address physical labor and develop resources and tools for department heads and unit leaders to aid in the promotion and tenure process.

Congratulations to these two outstanding faculty on such honorable appointment.  We know you will continue to serve our college and university well.
