Nutrition Graduate Student Awarded AAUW International Fellowship

The College of Education, Health and Human Sciences congratulates Amal Humidat, doctoral candidate and graduate research assistant in the Department of Nutrition, awarded the American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellowship.  Originally from the Palestinian Territories, she is the recipient of the international fellowship which will allow her to continue her studies in Cellular and Molecular Nutrition in the United States.

Amal is one of 250 women scholars awarded $3.9 million through six fellowships and grant programs. This funding allows women to continue their education and research by assisting in alleviating the burden of student debt. The AAUW has been empowering women and girls through research, education, and advocacy since 1881.
