2018 Educators Hall of Honor Inductee: Polly Anna Harris

Polly Anna Harris, retired math and calculus teacher, was recently inducted into Educators Hall of Honor. The Hall of Honor was established to recognize educators who have made profound differences in their students’ lives and the community.

Harris was a former math and calculus teacher at Bearden High School located in Knoxville.  She received her MS in mathematics at the University of Tennessee.  For twenty-three years, Harris taught students basics in mathematics to theorems of calculus.  Her dedication the the mathematical education of students at the high school was honored by naming a wing of the high school after her.
