PIPES Summer Camp Scheduled for June 6-8

The PIPES Program, Possibilities in Postsecondary Education, is hosting Summer Camp June 6-8 for juniors and seniors from three high schools in Union and Campbell counties, allowing them a glimpse into collegiate life.  The students will participate in different groups to raise the awareness of their educational possibilities, tour the campus, learn time management and study skills, and includes lab visits.

The five-year project made possible by a Science Education Partnership Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) seeks to make a positive difference in East Tennessee by providing opportunities for tenth and eleventh graders to explore STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, and medical science) careers and promote college awareness.
