The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (CEHHS) is proud to congratulate one of our top graduates, Teresa Slade. Teresa majored in Audiology and Speech Pathology through a joint program offered by Theory and Practice in Teacher Education and the UT Health Science Center with a minor in psychology.
“In the future, I hope to earn my clinical doctorate in Audiology and practice in pediatrics. This major has helped me discover my passion for Audiology, as well as give me practical experience in the field. I’m a member of the Chancellor’s Honors Program and currently completing my thesis project with Audiology professors from UT’s Health Science Center where I will be attending in the fall. On campus, I have been involved with the Center for Leadership and Service as a Leadership and Service Ambassador and with the Alternative Spring Break program. I am currently serving as president of my sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda. I have loved my four years at UT and can’t wait to be a Vol for Life!”
