Leigh Webb Awarded William J. & Lucille H. Field Award for Excellence in Secondary Principalship for the State of Tennessee

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences congratulates Leigh Webb, PhD, Principal at Centennial High School located in Franklin, TN chosen as recipient of the William J. & Lucille H. Field Award for Excellence in Secondary Principalship for the State of Tennessee.  Webb, a professional educator since 1999, holds an EdD and master’s degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree in English.  Webb  was an assistant principal at Ravenwood High School and an English teacher at Franklin High School prior to her current position.

The William J. and Lucille H. Field Award for Excellence in Tennessee Secondary School Leadership is administered by the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences and recognizes a Tennessee secondary school principal whose life and work are characterized by leadership excellence. The award winners are chosen through the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and recipients must be nominated by someone with first hand knowledge of their qualities and accomplishments.
