Jaekel and The Effects of Premature Birth on Education Report Presented at Nuffield Foundation

Julia Jaekel of the Department of Child and Family Studies has worked with Dieter Wolke’s research team to present a report focusing on premature birth and the lifelong effects upon education.

Wolke, guest speaker for CFS’s public presentation on bullying on April 26th, conducted a study at the University of Warwick and funded by the Nuffield Foundation.  Data was analyzed from studies of children born prematurely and their reading and math skills in association with their educational qualifications.
