“Autism in Love”-Free Advanced Screening

Indie Lens Pop-Up, a division of East Tennessee PBS, is sponsoring a free screening of the movie, Autism in Love.  This movie is a feature length documentary about how adults with autism find and manage romantic relationships.  The screening is scheduled for November 19 at 7:30 P.M. in the Alumni Memorial Building, Room 27.

Autism spectrum disorder is being diagnosed at an alarming rate making some wonder what the cause is or is it just that we are able to better diagnose.  The University of Tennessee FUTURE program offers a two year nonresidential program for young adults with intellectual and development disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder and provides an opportunity to achieve a post-secondary educational certificate.
