Work Study Research Opportunities for Students in CEHHS

FUTURE StudentThe University UG research committee is pleased to announce the creation of the Work-study Research Assistantship Program. This program will provide year-round funding for undergraduate research assistants.  This year will be a pilot program with 10 positions, all located in CEHHS through the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education. Work-study population tends to be freshman and sophomores, low-income, first generation students.

Expectations for the Student:

  • Students will work as a research assistant for the assigned faculty member for 150 hours per semester. The schedule will be worked out between the student and the faculty member.
  • Students will fill out a bi-weekly timesheet on time to get paid.  Unprocessed time sheets will not be paid, and cannot be made up in the future.
  • For the 2015-2016 academic year, the pay rate is $7.25 per hour.
