Early Learning Center Touts Ten Ideas to Foster Summer Learning

The Early Learning Center (ELC) encourages families to make summer a learning experience for your child.  Summer can be a time to relax but that relaxation can include well disguised methods of learning.  As children are often on a schedule during the school year, this can be an opportunity to follow your child’s interest while still encouraging continuous learning during the summer months.  The ELC recommends 10 ideas to give families opportunities to leisurely pursue interesting, engaging experiences that promote active learning which leads to new ideas, questions and peaks the curiosity for kids of all ages.
