Joy Desensi, Chancellor’s Professor in Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sports Studies and Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Education has been named Quest Scholar of the Week by the Office of Research and Engagement for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Desensi joined UTK in 1983 and recently announced her retirement after a long career with the university. Her background in athletics led her to a teaching and coaching career at the university.
