Dear Faculty

The College of Education, Health and Human Sciences in conjunction with the Office of Research and Engagement is providing an important opportunity.  We are offering you the opportunity to get individualized assistance on finding external funding opportunities.  The university has purchased access to SciVal Funding, a software package that links one’s research profile with potential funding sources.  According to SciVal’s website, “SciVal Funding comprehensively covers grants from Australia, Canada, the European Commission, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. With more than 6,000 international sponsors, providing more than 20,000 active opportunities, there are many funding opportunities for which researchers both inside and outside of these countries are eligible.”

We have scheduled two dates to bring together faculty researchers with staff from the Office of Research and Engagement to assist you with setting up your SciVal Funding profile.  This will result in you receiving funding notifications specific to your research areas.  We are organizing the days by department.  Sessions will be held in Claxton 412.  You’ll need to bring your laptop for this interactive session.
