Child and Family Studies and Early Learning Center Assists in Building a New, Natural Playground with Partners Through Playgrounds.

Child and Family Studies and The Early Learning Center assisted in the construction of a new, natural playground at North Ridge Crossing Head Start.  Faculty and staff assisted with the project which will double as a research project for students in the program.  The playground is funded by a $2,000 grant from UT Outreach and Engagement with materials donated by the city of Knoxville, AmeriCorps, Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) and UT’s Early Learning Centers.  View news coverage or read more about this project.
