Position
Assistant Professor (Health Administration) for nationally accredited MPH Program with the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (nine month tenure-track position)
Qualifications
Required: Earned doctorate in health administration, public health or closely related field; evidence of published research in refereed journals; and, commitment to obtaining extramural support for research.
Desired: MPH or MSPH degree; public health practice & management experience; research experience relevant to discipline; university teaching experience; effective interpersonal & communication skills; experience with on-line course instruction; experience with professional & community organizations.
Responsibilities
Teach graduate courses in health administration and other public health courses as appropriate. Establish an independent, extramurally-funded research program whose research results in publications in refereed journals. Contribute to further development of the public health academic program. Advise graduate students and direct graduate projects, theses and dissertations. Provide professional and community service.
