The Department of Child and Family Studies (CFS) at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position with rank open.  Established scholars are encouraged to apply.  We seek candidates whose ongoing research and teaching will strengthen CFS's main area of focus: development in context. Scholars with an applied focus who study children and families at risk are particularly encouraged to apply.  Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of multiple methods of scholarship in child and family studies. The successful candidate will be expected to continue an active research agenda, including seeking funding from competitive federal and private agencies, in addition to participating in the Department's undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising programs.
