Initially adopted by the Unit Accreditation Board on March 31, 2000. Unit Standards were ratified by the Executive Board on May 11, 2000 (also known as the NCATE 2000 standards). Professional Standards for the Accreditation of Schools, Colleges, and Departments of Education contains an updated list of program standards and updated language in the chapter on ‘Accreditation Decisions’ to reflect policy board actions through 2006.
