President's Message
I bring you greetings from the College Senate. As specified in the CEHHS bylaws, our mission is to serve “as an advocate of and voice for the faculty in matters that affect the academy of the College.” The Senate, therefore, invites all faculty to bring issues of importance and concern to their respective departmental senators. With this strong input, we can truly serve as a conduit for transparent communication between the faculty and the administration. We can also work as an integrated team to support the mission of the College…Enhancing quality of life through research, outreach, and practice.
In order to facilitate this process, our new CEHHS College Senate website has a directory of members of the College Senate. As you peruse the CS website, you will also find a section for general announcements; the complete charge of the Senate, housed within the CEHHS Bylaws; and agendas for and minutes from College Senate meetings.
We look forward to a very productive year together in 2008 and beyond.
