CHAIR

              $2,000,000 and above

Provides substantial salary support for a faculty member and related research, library, and travel expenses.  If the gift is substantial enough, it may provide a full salary.  Dean, or appropriate academic officer, determines specific criteria with approval of the chancellor.

DISTINGUISHED PROFESSORSHIP

$1,000,000

Provides annual amount applied toward the salary and related research, library, and travel expenses.  Dean, or appropriate academic officer, determines specific criteria with approval of the chancellor.

PROFESSORSHIP 

$500,000

Provides annual amount applied toward the salary and/or related research, library, and travel expenses.  Dean, or appropriate academic officer, determines specific criteria with approval of the chancellor.

FACULTY FELLOWSHIP

$250,000

Provides annual amount applied toward the salary and/or related research, library, and travel expenses.  Dean, or appropriate academic officer, determines specific criteria with approval of the chancellor.

FACULTY AWARD

$100,000

Provides annual amount applied toward the salary and/or related research, library, and travel expenses.  Dean, or appropriate academic officer, determines specific criteria with approval of the chancellor.

MINIMUM ENDOWMENT   

$25,000

This may be provided in one payment or be built to this level over a 10-year period.  This is the minimum level for any endowment.
