TODAY RAIN IS EXPECTED:
Due to expected rain today, we are shifting our kick-off plan a bit. You (or someone from your group) can pick up your board this afternoon from 4-6 pm outside the Deans Office in Claxton. That way for the folks that want to sketch something out or begin some work, you can have it and keep it safe and dry.
TOMORROW:
Tomorrow morning, We will be onsite on the pedestrian walkway between Haslam Business Building and the New University Center. Signage will be visible.
If your group picked up a board on Thursday, it should be onsite by 9 a.m. So that visuals and activity are strong during the event itself.
Groups can also just get their boards onsite starting at 8 a.m.
The weather report shows rain MAYYYYYbe in the afternoon (fingers crossed that won’t happen) but if it does, we will move into bottom floor of Claxton (student/vending area). As each piece is finished we will spray with a fixative to help preserve them and then on Monday we will display them across our buildings in high traffic areas with their signage to continue the art chalk walk for a few more weeks too!
