Lucky CEHHS Students Get to Work Historic Super Bowl 50

Seven of the twelve students chosen as part of The Big Orange Combine, will get the opportunity to work the historic Super Bowl 50; the showdown between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.  This bowl game already has strong ties to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with Peyton Manning, quarterback for the Bronco’s, along with former Vols and teammates Malik Jackson and Britton Colquitt. Another former Vol, Chris Scott, will be playing for the the Carolina Panthers and our students get to take part in this monumental event.

These seven students, all a part of the Sports Management program through the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sports Studies, will travel to San Francisco February 3-8 to work the game and pregame events.

This amazing experience will give them a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of the largest known sporting events and will allow them the opportunity to gain experience they could not elsewhere.
