CEHHS TPTE PhD Graduate Earns Award At University of Connecticut

Congratulations to a recent College of Education, Health, and Human Services graduate for receiving the 2015 Outstanding Early Career Scholar Award at the University of Connecticut. Rachel Gabriel, PhD graduate from Literacy Studies in the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education, has received this award in recognition of outstanding early-career contributions to her field of study, along with demonstrated potential for continued research success and achievements.

Rachael Gabriel is an Assistant Professor of Literacy Education in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut.  Read more about Rachael’s
