CEHHS Undergraduate Nutrition Student Association Hosted Dietetic Internship Forum

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Nutrition Undergraduate Student Association hosted their 11th Annual Dietetic Internship Forum on Thursday, November 19.  Program graduates are required to complete a post-baccalaureate dietetic internship and national exam in order to become credentialed at registered dietitians.

This years event hosted 15 internship programs including Appalachian State University, East Tennessee State University,  Georgia Southern University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Life University, Samford University, University of Florida, University of Kentucky, The University of Tennessee at Martin, University of Virginia, US Military/Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition, Vanderbilt University, and Western Kentucky University.

The students also welcomed undergraduate students from at least six other undergraduate nutrition programs including Radford University, University of Kentucky, Carson-Newman University, Tennessee Tech University, East Tennessee State University, and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. 

Approximately 80 students attended to learn more about individual programs and network with program directors.
